If you are interested in serving your community and would like to join the Weir Volunteer Fire Department, come to any business or training meeting and complete an application. After you have attended three meetings, your membership will be voted on by the department. Previous experience and training is not required, but helpful. We meet on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

 

There are a couple different ways you can help. The most common way is to serve as a firefighter or firefighter/EMT. If you interested in responding to medical calls, but are not interested in fighting fires, you may join as an EMT (current EMT certification required).
